We are pleased to present this final programme of our
2nd Barcelona International Medical Congress on Acupuncture,
which this year will be held on 3-5 June.
As you will see, the programme consists of four general
sections:
The workshops – in the morning
before the official opening. An opportunity to work in
small groups with experts on specific, really practical
subjects in acupuncture.
Synology and Anthropological Medicine –
To fathom the roots of Chinese medicine and acupuncture,
and explore together the ideas of health and illness.
Acupuncture and Medical Specialities
– To discuss frankly what acupuncture can contribute
to each speciality and demonstrate its effects in specific
pathologies.
Regulation – At a time when there
is a worldwide debate on regulating the so-called non-conventional
medicines, we wish to make our point of view known as
medical graduates and specialists in acupuncture and come
to a consensus with our colleagues, mainly European, but
also those from other parts of the world.
It is fundamentally a congress to promote better understanding
and for working together, where we hope you will have
an enjoyable time while learning and sharing together
both theoretical and practical aspects of acupuncture.
We sincerely hope we will see you in Barcelona between
3rd and 5th June.
